Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that occurs when individuals focus on the bright side of their life and expect positive results.
People with positive thinking expect happiness, health, success, and beliefs, things that help them overcome any obstacle and difficulty comes their way. If people are positive, they will track positivity and be surrounded by positive people and will act positively. On the other hand, If they are negative, they will track negativity and be surrounded by negative people. However, they will automatically act negatively.
Not everyone follows or believes in the concept and rather to say the blessing of positive thinking; however, some people consider it nonsense. In order for it to be used and useful; individuals must not just be aware of its existence, but to believe in it and adopt the attitude of thinking positively in every action they do.

1. The belief in oneself:

“If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won’t, you most assuredly won’t. Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad.” — Denis Waitley
The first thing that needs to be done and must be existed in the individual is the belief in oneself. Individuals must believe in themselves and their abilities. they must believe that they can achieve whatever they want, but only if they have the will and the goodwill. When people truly believe that they can achieve a certain goal, they will successfully achieve it. Since individuals have the goodwill to achieve a certain goal, they start looking for ways to achieve it; then comes the self-challenge. When people are precise, persistent, and not afraid of failure, only then, the magic starts happening and whatever was a dream becomes real.
People act based on how they see and feel towards themselves. If they believe they are not good enough or they will not succeed, they start acting accordingly and even worse. For example; Ahmed, a high school student, is passing his midterm exam. he enters his exam believing that he will not pass his exam and he will fail. Ahmed, as a result, will fail his exam due to his negativity. the more people are negative, the more they believe in it and start acting accordingly. If only people realize that they have powers they never dreamed of that can do things they never thought they could do. There are no limitations in what individuals can do except the limitations of their own minds.

2. Individuals’ attitude determines their lives

“Your world is nothing more than the thoughts you have about your experiences”
Each person in this world has problems, and it’s true, problems take time to be solved. However, it depends on how people treat these kinds of problems. it is up to them to react either positively or negatively towards them. For instance, technical problems take some time to be solved and not at the push of a button, however, individuals’ attitudes can be changed from a second to the other. Individuals’ world and reality are determined by how and what they think of whatever they experience in life. “What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds.” — Wayne Dyer.
For instance, Lara had a motorcycle accident with her father. The accident was a disaster in which her father could not walk or stand for a year. Lara was about to pass her driving license test, however, she refused to pass the test due to what happened to her father. Since then, she became afraid of riding a motorcycle and even avoiding public transport. The way she reacted to the accident is negative as if it was a bad sign and spent the rest of the year afraid of anything and everything when she is out. Alternatively, she could have reacted to it and consider it as a gift or a miracle that her father was alive and she was fine with no broken bones. she could have been optimistic and enjoyed every single second of the whole year and being grateful. she could have chosen the positive thought instead of the negative ones. She could have looked at the brighter side of the story.

3. Individuals’ ability to imagine their lives free of worry.

The ability of individuals to imagine their lives free of worry and the possibility of living without worrying about their future, their jobs, and even their problems will take a lot of their current worries away and reduces them up to 80%.
Worry is the main source of anxiety and stress, that often results in heart diseases, arthritis and other serious diseases that leads individuals’ lives expectancy to fall down. So eliminating and avoiding it is the best interest and benefit whenever possible.
For instance, John is always stressed about his job and the tasks that need to be done. Sometimes, he thinks that being stressed helps him being productive and complete his tasks successfully in a very short period of time. In fact, being stressed and worried all the time does not help the individuals’ minds to get some rest even during the night while sleeping. The brain is always working and thinking about the problems that must be fixed. Sooner or later, problems will be fixed, tasks will be successfully accomplished, but the human mind gets tired a few years later. Even though some people believe that eventually, they will solve their problems. Still, they can not stop being worried and stressed about their current situation. The latter called the negative inner voice in which the unconscious voice that is full of negative thoughts overcomes the positive ones. If only John and other people could look into their future and imagine themselves, weeks or months or even years later, living free from worrying and from all the problems that actually haunt them, they will become positive. After closing their eyes and picture all of the latter, they will feel much better.
It is all about oneself and what is coming from within. thoughts become words. Words become actions. Actions become habits. Habits become character. A character becomes one’s destiny. So, it all starts with one’s thoughts. Once individuals start thinking positively and look at the half-full side of the glass, not the half-empty side; they start acting accordingly. So as Mahatma Gandhi once said: “A man is but the product of his thoughts- what he thinks, he becomes”.
